I would have refused the truck or say take it out. If no reason to have camera then there shouldn't be one. Facing out can be good though, showing other idiots out there.

Came across a flat bedder last weekend that was quitting because they put a camera in the truck. He had numerous hard braking incidents and was not getting the fuel mileage that R wants to see with the truck.

I didn't stay with them very long, not because of the camera really just to much down time, I could have refused the truck with the camera, It was a choice, but Man it was a sweet ride and I didn't want to risk getting a clunker in return. If anything it kept my finger out of my nose. Most of the time anyway.

I got a camera... Kept getting critical events during turns. I have had 4 "events" since I got the camera. Only one was even a borderline issue. The other three were BS. When I finally got a hold of two of the videos and had time to actually watch them I noticed something wrong. In the end, those two were wiped out because what they said was not true. The camera triggered because of "rapid acceleration" The video clearly shows me braking and slowing down before a turn. After that, haven't had one in 2 months. HHMMMM, but I see the dam thing go off at least 4 times a day. Wonder if my truck keeps saying I am rapidly accelerating into a turn. Man, I should have had multiple accidents and rollovers by now if that is true. :biggrin_25523:

Office type personnel will believe a computer sensor over a driver even if its faulty. Always.

They have cameras in the trucks? I was planning on driving naked but now I'm afraid if I brake hard....I might get a sexual harassment lawsuit. :biggrin_25524:
