I've applied to US holland, pepsi, coke, clark distrubution(miller) , eagle distrubution ( Budweiser), yellow and ryder. Should I be looking at other companies too? Alot are wanting 1yr experience, but also many say that they will let that slide. I'm a very hard worker and young, so I do not care to do the physical work if the money is good and I'm home with my wife and son every night. I've been religiously checking indeed, craigslist, careerbuilder for jobs. I graduate school in 2 weeks and want something ready when I turn out. Help me out.

also stop at your grocery stores and find out who makes deliveries there. same with resterunats and fast food joints. don't let anyone say its impossible to get a local job out of school. might be hard but if you're in the right place at the right time. good luck

Also, try going down to the produce market area. There are lots of local produce deliveries being made from your local companies. Good luck.

I have looked on all the job listing websites, but I figure most good jobs are not listed on those websites.

Exactly. They want u to get up and see u face-to-face. Internet in my eyes for applications is a waste of time. If they are too lazy to come fill out an app...Then stay home and dont bother.

Look into companies that haul horses. Should be plenty of them around that area. Same goes for companies hauling hay, feed etc...

This is complete bs. Most companies you go to these days and try to get hired they won't even talk to you. All you get is, "apply online". Because they're to lazy to deal with you.
