Most new truck drivers drive approximately 2,500 miles per week - with some variation. Some only drive 2,000, some drive 3,000. The average is about 2,000 to 2,500 miles per week.

Very few people drive more than 3,000 miles per week.

    Good luck to you :)

    I'm very disappointed
I wrote some messages to Canadian truck-driving schools and nobody replied me
Is it normally? May be they didn't reply me because I'm a foreigner?
of course i wait smoe days and will write again :)

Are you sure the messages did not go into your spam mail box? If you can possibly arrange it, a phone call would probably be better or VERY short emails. Ask only one or two questions and wait to get a reply. Seems to work best in my experience.

You don't have to go to these expensive schools to get your license if you have experience (even in Russia). Just take a few lessons ($50-$85 per an hour) and you'll be ready to pass the road test. After that, the problem is to get insurance. Your employer will need to arrange it with his current insurance company. Normally a driver can be insured if he/she has at least 3 years of canadian experience or a certificate from a pre-approved (CTHRC or TTSAO in Ontario) driving school. But international experience also counts.
Also you'll need to speak and understand English to find a decent job in Canada.

I can't post links on this forum, but I can suggest searching Google for "Тракерство Растет" (Trucking Business Is Growing).
