How do i find tax preparation cpa or attorney who specializes in trucking taxes?

    Im in Northern CA. This is for taxes during period I was a small business owner and working as a 10-99 independent contract driver. Ive been to two tax guys who knew nothing about per deim or expenses for OTR truckers.

    Ive googled "trucking taxes, transportation industry tax prep, small business, trucking company tax prep..." Almost every combo of terms i can think of... nothing...

    Please help!!!

    If you are behind on your taxes, great people to deal with are The United Tax Group out of Florida.
    You can do a search for them.
    If you are caught up on your taxes, they may still do them, I'm not sure.

    I used to think that as well but I found out that going to a good CPA that is small business minded can really pay dividends and there is simply no way for someone that isn't in that business to keep up with all the new tax codes every year.

    Well, Turbo Tax is how I got myself in trouble in the first place, so I contacted Jackson Hewlitt. I will be meeting with them Thursday! I've never had tax problems before. I can't wait to find out what I owe and get the IRS paid!!!! I've spent too many late nights awake worrying about this! Thank you for the suggestion thelushlarry!!! I'll let you know how it goes!!!
