Central Refrigerated Truck Stop II

Any central company drivers in here want to lease a truck? i have to be home more often and need to get out of this lease. please just message me 2012 cascadia 211000 miles or so no problems decent truck 2 years left on the lease

i have a truck that needs a new home. just look up a couple of posts

 

you don't need to ask on the boards. central will be glady take the truck back and lease it on to someone else.

but i know of one former employee that got a collection notice and a date for court.

 

From at Atlanta looking at going to Central. My one question is do they have runs to Atlanta to get me home at least once every two months.

 

Yes we have a terminal near Atalanta (in Connolly) so home time should not be an issue

 

So due to me not working last week and taking home time I get a negative check of $41.06.. lol. For some reason I didn't think that they would continue to deduct my school and security deposit if there were no miles to receive a check. Guess that's what I get for thinking.

I planned on not getting a check this week but logged on to the website to see if my $100 upgrade bonus might be coming and see that I have a negative check. Going to call payroll to at least see about when the upgrade pay comes.

Negative checks are fun! (Sarcasm intended)

I've only ever got one negative check. I don't get them from home time because I developed a trick. Ask for home time starting thurs. that way you deliver a load Tuesday to get you home. Then go back out Monday or Tuesday so you have time to run a short load. You don't get much of a check, but $50 beats -$800

 

So today I got lost in Chicago! Delivering somewhere I've never been before, and as it turns out, the name on the building is different from the name on the qc, and there is no name on the bills. Took a 30 minute detour (no where to turn around) just to find out I had been parked in front of it searching google for its whereabouts.

Still made it on time with 9 minutes to spare, which is pretty good considering at one point prior to getting lost I was worried I would be late.

 

I've had four negatives. The first two, I was home for ten days. The second two just happened and I was home for almost seven because I got there two days late and then they didn't get me a load out on the day I needed. Then to top it off I picked up a long load the following Tuesday so my short week got shorter and I put my profit and then some in the tank Monday. These things happen. I started off with $1650 for the month and I'll find out in the morning whether or not to pull out my hair! Lol.
