    Deadheaded to sdi in butler. The parking lot was the worst i ha e ever seen it. Got a coil going to kenwall steel in Lebanon tn for a 1345 appointment. Will call to see if I can deliver early. Regardless I will start my clock by eight to avoid being put on a schedule where I have to drive late into the night to stay on schedule.

    They said come down anytime
    So you were correct. Got sent over to Cumberland city for a load of drywall going to Columbus Georgia. Parked for.the night outside the receiver. Last day of month...25 points.....priceless!

    What is this point system that Maverick has gone to? I've been gone 8 months, are they doing like a lot of other companies and going away from the pay per mile?

    The point system is the pay for performance bonus, we're still paid by the mile normally. However, instead of only getting a bonus for fuel mileage, we now have a scorecard which factors in many things to generate a score and we're paid a performance bonus off of that, up to .06 per mile.

    I think that's what you're referring to, unless you're talking about the safety points system, and that hasn't changed anytime recently.

    Thanks CaptainX3. I was wondering since I've seen several post referring to points. And I'm starting to see where some companies are giving their drivers the option of being paid a percentage of what each run earns vs ppm.

    Delivered my untreated lumber in Richmond Indiana and picked up a load of treated lumber at the same place. Goi.ng to a lowes in Erie pa. Since I libs n of Columbus, I knew traffic would be backed up on 71 due to construction. So I went up 75 to Findlay and pi ked up Ohio 12 to oh 53 to the turnpike. Spent the night near vermilion at the plaza.
