Stevens Transport does the same thing. I was watching what appeared to be two students trying to figure how to get the truck into a spot that they could just straightlined into for the most part.
I agree with they need to go with someone more experienced but I can also see y. It's hard to get good trainers that will train to the company standards.let alone one that isn't just taking them on for the money and not teach a thing. England is a prime example.
I guess the attitude is that new drivers will less likely be willing to deviate from company policy. It has it's own risk

I remember watching a Swift truck pull into a truck stop and turn forwards into a parking space with his trailer taking up the 2 spaces to the right of him. Done for the night!
On another occasion another Swift driver turned too tightly leaving a 'J', he collected a landscaping boulder in front of his trailer tandems and rolled it down the street, totally unaware until someone pointed it out.
Beware. -
Lol. That's awesome. I was at a flying j and a swift guy parked his truck and went inside...he forgot to set his breaks and his truck slowly rolled into a tanker. All dramatic like. I'm wondering why the witnesses didn't jump inside and set the brakes before the accident happened. I would have if I had actually seen it happen.
