This is true. Look at the pic. all of his tarp straps are on the outside of the rub rail. Not inside.
I did notice a few wrinkles in the tarp also.. Shame shame..haha

 

I know. I started rolling onto I-5 and reached for it and it wasn't in the cup holder. I said AW ####... Oh well

 

Speaking of the straps on the outside of the rail, does anyone have 2" ratchets that will function on the inside of the rail?? All of mine only will work from the outside. Next time u are out messing with one, take a look. The hook only allows it to be placed on the outside. Drives me crazy

as for the bungees, they actually hook to the bottom row of D then wrap around the rail and go I the second row of D. Then some just hook tothe rail. Just how I roll ...... I figured as long as I don't snap one in my face, it's all good LOL

 

That's why I buy the ones with the chain ends not the hooks..
They work better for me with the lowboy trl. Can hook into the D rings or through the triangle cut outs.
