Here on this 168th page, would anyone be willing to break down the kinds of crude hauling jobs/companies available? Or, if it's been done already, would you mind directing me to the post? You know, big companies/small companies, the companies everyone wants to work for and the ones everyone wishes they didn't work for; company driver or driving for a small fleet owner (sometimes erroneously called O/O); hourly/percentage; day cabs/sleeper cabs; long haul/short haul; housing provided and not...

I've been hauling frac sand since January, I've been in ND a couple weeks. We're either busy, busy, busy or we're sitting. We use loose leaf logs, 'nuf said.

There are literally 100s and 100s of companies.......craigslist has 1000s of companies, some good , some not so good fly by nighters....you need to research this forum and figure it out...its all there.....if youre in North Dakota you shouldnt have any problem finding someone to pick ya up to haul crude if ya got the experience.

Good to know it's not just us. Real eye opener coming off electronic logs.

The best way to find out about your future driving in the ND oil patch is to call and talk about it. We are currently looking for some drivers and we average 5-6 loads everyday hauling water. Send me a notification and we will talk.

    Big_jon Thanks this.

What makes Plains a good company? I have seen their trucks around but don't know too much about them.

Iowa Tank Lines. I think you will not make enough to pay for your fuel with them. Do you have any experience hauling crude?

They have good rates, and they will pay you to wait in line, which you will do allot of. Be safe, It's not optional.
