If you are srious, decide to make a change, like i did.I was once a very ignorant O/O and living in my truck with nothing at all.I just had a truck and nothing more.I have been there and i hope i never go back to them horrible living conditions i was in.I was a ''homeless trucker''.No car,no nothing...

The old saying. When the student is ready, the teacher will appear.I made a decision that day and asked this old man for help and my teacher appeared.I will be forever grateful for this man...

Today i am blessed with a life beyond my wildest dreams...

Ignorance & apathy is the problem.... Too many people with the I don't know & I don't care attitudes ... This is why the current problems exist.

    mje and landstar8891 Thank this.

Oh yes! Otherwise, I would very likely do horribly in school. I do tend to get sarcastic at times.
    Sorry for any confusion ^_^

Land star thats really taking things too far bud. If a person is over you at a company. Be respectful, do what they ask, and no more. If you cant see what your company needs ask.

    mje Thanks this.

Yes, that is the most prominent problem. People are trained to just follow rules and not question authority. Philosophers questioned authority, and to this day, their teachings are still read in schools everywhere. Society as a whole will continue to atrophy unless we encourage diverse and free thought. NASA does, and look at how many advances they make! I only hope that companies can bite down their pride enough to accept helpful suggestions, and realize that by taking care of their employees, their employees will take care of them.

Being respectful and asking are part, but if you have suggestions for a better process, those ideas shouldn't be instantaneously condemned as bad. If the suggestion is well-thought out and the company has merit, they would want to improve on things that they may not have seen. Of course, some improvements would be too costly to implement. Millions of dollars were spent putting photo radar cameras all along several Phoenix, Arizona freeways, only to be decomissioned after barely two years of use. Had this idea been put to a vote before being outright implemented, it would have saved the state several million dollars.
People can go too far with complaints, and comments like "This company screws you over" don't really state what exactly the problem is. If people offer their suggestions in a well-articulated manner, they would most likely be more well-received. Unfortunately, anger pushes a lot of people to make rash decisions and get them into more trouble than they originally were.
I have never been fired from jobs; however, supervisors who saw my expertise in a wide variety of areas, worried I would take their job. I only wanted to come to work, do my job and go home with my paycheck. I didn't want their job, but because I am a free thinker, and learn all I can, that intimmidates people.
