I've got 8 days off coming at the end of the month and I'm gonna talk to a few local companies to see about hiring on with them if the pays right, so I may be leaving soon. Not that I've been doing much on this board lately.

 

Seems like all the drivers are doing the one and done, with SNI?

 

Some less. Many are getting enough experience to go to other companies with day cab positions.

Seems to be the case, but many experienced drivers still around. I love talking with them; great stories, experiences and tips they share to new drivers. I have yet to meet a jerk at Schneider. I know they are there, but I haven't met one yet.

 

That's because you never met me lol! Forget the bonus if you have a old Century. I did everything right the first quarter, but got a 85 percent because my DBL always makes me drive 75-80 miles to home time without it being on the work flow.

I am looking at going to work for schneider otr when i graduate from school can anyone tell me about the equipment u get as a new hire and average miles if you want to push hard and not worry about home time

 

I got an 06 Century, beat up in the front and back, started with 820xxx miles on it, at 852xxx miles now and I have been with the Punkinpatch solo since Feb. I try to get home about every 5 weeks
p.s. New England sucks for miles and better have a good plan where your gonna sleep for the night, anyplace that says "historic" is real cool to see, but in a 70 foot long 9 foot wide vehicle on a street designed for 2 horses butts, it gets:smt119
