My truck has an occasional shimmy to it. The entire truck shakes. I mentioned it to the mechanics they added ten psi to my tires and said test it out and bring it back if there are any problems. (Even tread <100K miles at that point). It doesn't shake again until two days later. Fast forward to my next stop at CRSWVC... Truck still shakes randomly. It is most often when I'm accelerating, but sometimes when I'm decelerating. Empty or loaded it's just as random either way. He said well loaded you're probably dry on the 5th wheel. I said, I had a grease job on Thursday (it was Saturday). He said, "we'll that will do it." I kind of ####ed my eyebrow like, huh? He said, "yeah so you should be good with that." So yeah, I'll get nailed with this later I'm sure but not sweating it... I'm rich!! Lol. No presets in PA. Way to overbook the area!!! Give me an 800 mile deadhead just get me Rollin!!!

We don't let Central work on our truck! (Got stuck once though, they 'red tagged' us for tires... Grrr!)... We go to a dealer or TA, even Speedco... Heard to many stories to trust their work... Plus we make them enough money, don't need to give them more!

How do the shop rates compare? You find one more consistent than another? Just checking

I forgot I'm allergic to California. It's gonna be a miserable day.

LOL... Welcome to the land of double nickels!! Got pulled into the Sacramento scale the other day... Second Central truck there. FULL inspection done (we passed... Very glad we were BT) The other Central truck wasn't so lucky... Pulled a load out of Modesto and didn't scale it!! He was 36K on the tandems!! Plus the trailer had other issues... They (highway patrol) gave him permission to take itto the Stockton yard ... But I sure don't want to see the amount of the overweight scale ticket!!

Ca is the only state that ever gave me a level 1, but I mean literally allergic. The first time I came to ca I broke out in hives, this time my nose is running and my sinuses are swollen. I've always been free of allergies everywhere but California.

Yep... The Central Valley is one big pot of pollen, until the Delta breezes come (in summer) or a rain (but that is only a half of a days relief) ... THEN there is relief. (Our home is right in the center of it!!) Good luck to you!passion4polishing Thanks this.

Thanks. I always thought getting by in fl with not even a runny nose for decades meant no allergies for me, but this qualifies as biological warfare! I don't know how you deal with it regularly.

That starter they put in, is it OEM?
I've heard stories that WVC is putting in cheaper aftermarket starters.
The ones I've heard of were FL trucks. Then FL not covering the replaced starter and the O/O paying for it. Then it's a fight with Central to get the cost re-imbursted.Lady K and Arkansas Frost Thank this.
