I'm sitting in a very small town in northern Ohio getting my trailer fixed. The ABS light keeps coming on and screaming at weigh stations and highway cops to pull me over. And these guys are taking their time. Terrible way to start the week.
H.O. Wolding is a GREAT company!

Thanks ! You are awesome! I'm sorry you're having a bad start, but I will send amazing positive vibes to that silly tractor and hopefully you will have a fantastic week! You and your lady get moved yet?
-
I think you have me mixed up with someone else. My lady and I aren't moving anywhere, though I am considering changing my address to one in California.

Is the ABS on an 80 series trailer? They are notorious for that, and generally it's a sensor. Had a string of 3 straight trailers like that. Racked up some TA points that week.
Getting loaded in Lancaster, PA going to South Glen Falls. NY for tomorrow. Freight is slow out east, especially today in New York. Word. -
LW 5506. Easily one of the newest. Picked it up as an empty in Stoughton and it immediately began throwing the light. So whoever had it before me likely had this issue and did nothing about it.
I spent 4 hours at that shop and they weren't able to fix the problem so I picked up this load down the street which delivers in Wisconsin. I'll take the trailer to the yard after getting unloaded. Just gotta really hope my number doesn't come up at a scale during this trip. -
I would not roll with a trailer like that. But thats just me.

Got out of Mass and sent to Maine, next time I will be more specific with the Get Me Outta here direction. Made it to my delivery location for a 0300 LU in Watertown, NY with exactly one minute left of my 11, I truly HATE elogs.
My trailer apparently has been hanging out with Timecook's since my abs light has been on all day. No time to stop and fix it. Will get some WD40 in the morning and try to clean the connections first before spending quality time at a TA. -
In Wilton, NY for the night. Won't roll in the morning until I have my next pre plan so I don't screw myself over starting my clock too soon. Receiver will take me until 1400 so I hope I have one before then.
If the WD40 doesn't work, you can always try switching the ends of the cord. It's worked for me a couple of times. Don't know why, but it did.crazw Thanks this. -
The shop said if there's an issue like this DOT will usually be generous with a grace period until I get to our yard since I do have a receipt showing we tried to fix it. But yeah, a little risky I'd say. I wasn't really given any alternatives.
but the trailer stopped throwing the light today at some point. I drove from just east of the Indiana border on 80/90 to Menominee Michigan and it turned off somewhere in there. So maybe it's fixed, I don't know. Still taking it to the yard. The Challenger Thanks this. -
Freight still slow out here. Have a broker load from Gloversville, NY to North Collins, NY. Miles of open road with this one, but it's better than nothing.
Problem is, I got to the shipper and they said that the load is canceled. Called broker and told him the situation and now I'm waiting to hear back. The Challenger Thanks this.
