So once you go with your trainer how long should I look to being out. Also once you are done with the trainer and get your own truck will they route me home for a day or two. I talked to a recruiter but I'm ex-military so I dont trust recruiters sorry.

You will be out with your trainer for a minimum of 28 days AND 200 hours. Along with 40 backs. I was with my trainer for the full 28 days and had about 206 hours.

Once you upgrade they will try hard to get you on a load headed home. I went home first as I had my personal vehicle at the terminal making my home time before I started solo easy.

Talked to my trainer today head out tomorrow as soon as orientation is over tomorrow he has a dedicated that runs between Fontana Northern CA and North Carolina. Can't wait I have not been to NC in years. Today was just videos and paperwork then a presentation on the Lease program. Tomorrow we go to the terminal and the as soon as we are done I am off with my trainer.

D1-2c they gave us 5 things that you must have before you upgrade

    1)200hrs on line 3 (driving)
    2)40 backups
    3)20 Presets of the Refeer
    4)28 days
    5)trainers approval

After that They will try to rout you to the nearest terminal that has a truck or fiinsh you run back to your home terminal they you test for about a day. then if they have a truck available they will rout you home with a load for some home time then get you rolling and making money.

Put my two week notice in at work yesterday. Still Scheduled for SLC the 28th. Been worrying a lot. Trying not to, as to not raise my BP. But I worry about my weight, and whether or not I will pass the DOT Physical with my weight, or worse yet, if they will make me take a sleep apnea test. I dont snore, sleep on my stomach, never wake up in the middle of the night, etc. But with my weight of 290, 5' 9-10". I worry about it. I did measure my neck size right around 18. Am I worrying too much about this. Or could this be an issue?

I did have a DOT physical before, about 2 years ago. It went fine, but like I said, 2 years ago.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. I had a student 6'2" and 500+ pounds and he passed. I also hear they are no longer doing the workwell test so as long as your bp isn't too high you should be ok
