Thx my friend. Piece of cake. Whole story... Terminal about 30-45 mins away. Left almost 2 hrs early. Storms in area. First route became a parking lot to highway. Turned around. Second route got us on i77. Another parking lot! Full load trailer tipped & covered road w hot dogs. Road shut dwn. Of course missed bus. Called in explained & apologized. New ticket issued arrive late sun nite. Hate missing appointments! Thk **d I've travelled for yrs. Bus attendant nasty to everyone in front of me. Smiled said gd morning was polite & she was a gem! Like it or not we are in a people biz.
Ohhhh, tip over not CR! -

Well I can say I have experianced some of truckings trials now. We where delayed and waited on our first lod for 14 hours so I drove till 1:00 last night then my trainer took over. Right now I am working on my 10 in the sleeper then we swap this load with another driver and start heading to crswvc. I have to say I was amazed that there is so much to do when driving a truck I did not feel tired til I stopped to change drivers.

I'm 30 hrs into 44hr bus trip. I know I chose this over amtrack so I'd appreciate the spacious accommodations in bldg 2. All gd!

THey were going to let you take the Amtrak? Out of curiousity, I looked online at the Amtrak Schedule vs the Greyhound. Amtrak is cheaper, but Im sure CR gets a deal with greyhound, so not sure if my recruiter would go for that or not.

If u choose alternate transpo, even less $ than dawg, u pay & cr reimburses after 2 wks. My original bus schedule was less time. Not now. Standing at 46hrs due to equipment. I'll be fun mon. Where would U originate ?

Made it to crswvc. Showered and sitting in the louge.
unloader Thanks this. -
I'm leaving from Lima Ohio. But looking at the schedule it has a 4 hour layover in Columbus Ohio. Which is only 2 hours from Lima. So I may just have the recruiter get me a ticket from Columbus and have the family drop me off in Columbus. Other then that. Only one transfer in Denver for an hour. So its not terrible. Knock on wood.

Show off. Driver & woman have jabbered for the last 4 hrs. Though he warned us twice not to disturb him while driving. Have to unfold when I hit terminal. Just wanna shower & hit rack Save me a water ez on the ice!
