No sir, I don't have a depressive effect on the rates. I just know the fair market value of transportation. You also don't have to worry about me cutting your $3.85 in half (someone will) but I could do rather well with it at $3 and probably get it easily. But then it's probably north of I-20 but hey, for the right price, who knows?:biggrin_2559:

Correct. A chance we take every single day. Still going to try to sell what others do not.. Sometimes you win.......

It's too easy to get into most trucking activity. Easy entry=many competitors, most of who aren't clever enough to calculate their costs fairly. That's why I find 3+ average claims pulling standard freight hard to believe. But hey, more power to'em!

No concern you'll ever find it and guarantee you can't match my service. I never complain about poor rates or suckers who haul it, I get enough calls, emails to keep me busy. I hear the bad stories of ones who try what I was covering no problems for much less. Even get those for more than my old rate when they fail lol. Doesn't matter to me. I move on to the next spot and get my rate as always.

Well, i'm not so sure about the service part. I sure do get a lot of positive feedback. I'm happy for you you,it just seems a bit interesting, that's all. I'm just not smart enough to understand why someone would want to pay $3.85 per mile for transportation services that could be had for $2.85. Especially in a $1.85 market. Can you help me to understand?

That's the whole point, competition is real and if one company is trying to get too big a slice of the pie then it's wide open to the others.
I could name a hundred companys participating in the dry freight market but one in particular comes to mind. Do you think JB Hunt was clever enough to calculate costs fairly? Just curious.

Cause I've got good connections. And I doubt very seriously you come close to my service, I put this company on the map with small things that no-one else does that are so simple, and yet no o/o do it. Strive to drill that into all o/o who lease on here, 30 trucks now. I know how to play the game and know the marketss I work. Last time I went to MS a few weeks ago was $1350 at 5pm on a straight thru on 360 loaded. Next day the load popped on ITS for $800 and it was gone quick Have better sources than you, when they need a truck, they need it, and you wont ever see it. If I don't get it i go home empty.. I run circles around guys like you. There are trucks gobbling up what you would have done for 3 at 2.25 now, have at it, lol...
