I'm looking at their website, and it does look like they are hiring. But, they are very old school and require in person applications only. Would they really make you fill out all that work history right there in person?

Thats my yard (My company rents space from them) and they just started hiring for dock workers so I know for sure theyre hiring right now. Just bring your resume and dress nice as they might interview you on the spot. Not sure about pay and bennies but everyone seems happy and nice there. Good luck. And yes you do have to go in and fill out a pPer app

Thanks for your help. This might sound like a dumb question, but how would I tailor my resume for this kind of job? I have been in Security work for over a year now, and other various small seasonal positions the years before.

Yesterday I went back up to Pomona for KKW's drug and 100lb pull test. I'm setup to attend orientation this Monday.

Will do, like I said I'm set to go to orientation this Monday. I haven't driven a truck in almost two years so I'm a little nervous but I'm excited to drive again. I'll try to update my progress as I go.

There are a lot of companies in the l.a. area. Go to a Pilot/Flying J or TA and look for those little books that say truck driving jobs... Then, go to the company websites and keep looking until you find what you are looking for... I just did a brief search and found planety that are hiring in the So-cal area. You just have to dig a little.
