Im basically wanting to know if any of you otr guys have ever hit the wall?and when I say that I mean have you just reached the point to where your burned out on trucking and just want to quit?I know your going to have some bad days and all,but does it ever make you frustrated to the point that you decide its not worth it anymore?Ive talked to a few driving vets here and there who have been in the biz 20+ years and it seems some of them are bitter about there careers and some still wouldnt do anything else. Its a random question I know, but Ive been pondering about it ever since I talked to some drivers awhile back.

Find another segment of trucking.Go regional perhaps. Take another job, haul different freight, go to a new area of our wonderful Nation, change up a little. Perhaps take a few extra days off just to clear your mind.
You have chosen this career, but there are still many paths to take. Try a different road, but keep driving, IF you enjoy it.
We drive OTR as a choice because we do not enjoy being tied down to the same routine day after day after day. Trucking can be boring at times, but really..... every day is different. Some better , some worse. But never the same.
And yes, I got disgusted when I was OTR years ago, but then I asked myself what else did I really want to do ? Nothing came to mind, so I went regional, now just intra-state. Like Jimmy Buffet's song says, " CHANGES IN LATTITUDES,CHANGES IN ATTITUDES". Just try something a little different.

Every time I haul donkey to meet up with a scheduled relay, only to sit and wait because the other driver planned poorly and ran out of drive time
