Hey everone deserves a second chance there are companies that hire ex felons.Do you have a cdl yet?

 

Get your cdl and if it's been ten years I dont think it will be to hard to find a job.If your a hard worker try locql moving and storage companies it pays real well and you get to work out everyday I started with one in '90 and in '91 they let me use there trk to get my cdl then a few months later I went otr it can be done you just gotta work hard.

 

I have some that were about ten years old when I got my CDL. Even today, I regret having acted like such an idiot. It's something you never really get past.

I won't recommend CR England, but I'll just say that's where I got my CDL. I won't "not recommend" them, either, since they served my purpose. However, it's my understanding that many large carriers will work with you depending on the age and nature of the offense(s) and - this is most important - provided you are absolutely up front and honest about your past.

When it came time for my interview, after a few days at their school in salt lake, I was pretty worried I'd be sent home. The guy asked me basic questions, compared my application with my record and the answers I was giving him, and said, "welcome to England." I didn't try to excuse what I had done, just admitted I used to be really stupid. Keep your head up, hold on to your new values and move forward no matter how many doors you have to knock on. Just so you know, I had more than one felony.

Find Company paid training where they offer you a job if you successfully complete the training. That way if you get approved for school you will also have a guaranteed job. Otherwise, if you do the school first, you may not be able to get a job afterward and then be stuck with a payment for the schooling that you can't use.
