That is the exact thing that has happened to me on the swap I just delivered. Now the load Im picking up delivers at 0830 tuesday morning, and I cant load it untill monday morning because my hrs are messed up because of the swap. So load monday morning, and delivery is tuesday morning, and its 1190 miles to receiver. So Im guessing another swap, because I dont have the hrs to get it done. All because of the swap that started it all.

I would sure like to know the secret to getting those miles. 3175 miles is all Ive been able to come up with. Usually 2700-2800 miles is normal for me. I think that I might not be playing the game the right way. Maybe I should try working smarter rather than harder.

I don't know about that man.
1700 b/e even if you ran 500 miles a day you would be into your 4th day out of a 7 day work week before you started putting money in your own pocket. So essentially you would be working half a week for nothing.

I am over-simplifying because in reality there are a lot of little variables that come into play. Obviously some are making it work and making some money.

One question by break even are you talking fixed+fuel or just fixed? 1700 for fixed+fuel isn't the worst I've seen, but 1700 just for fixed is kind of painful.

I hope that is fixed plus fuel. If not I agree with you
