Good Luck...funny, I was just reading about a study was just published that the FAA fully expects planes to become pilot-less (all automated) very soon. With the "Driverless Google Car", how long before Tractor Trailers are zipping across the interstate with no one behind the wheel?

 

The FAA can and does expect all kinds of halucinations to come to pass on a regular basis. So does the FMCSA... witness Ann Ferro's little comment about having a zero accident society. Never going to happen. The first time a "pilotless" airplane or "driverless" truck crashes and there are dead bodies on the ground will be the last time a "pilotless" aircraft takes off... just the same as the first time someone's car is squashed beneath a "driverless" truck will be the last time it ever drives down the road without a driver in attendance. The public won't stand for that kind of stupidity... they barely put up with the state of things as they are now.
