With or without the trailer?! Hopefully without or you may be killing time for no reason... Anything older than 559xxx is a suspicious trailer to me.

Does it with both. Shop says bad sensor. Got a load heading up to west valley tonight. They said I would have my truck in ten mins and then started yanking drive tires for replacement... and replaced batteries.

When I get to CRSWVC they will try to fix the sensor. If not it goes to freightliner. Shop says if it went to the dealer here it would be more than 72 hrs. I'm hoping that is not the case when I get to Salt Lake.

Do you have a Cascadia? Mine is doing that and my last 3 trailer abs lights have been flickering for 5-10 min after hitting big bumps. I asked the shop and they said it was a trailer issue. I'm not sure though 3 trailers in a row and the only common variable is my truck. I'll be interested to hear what they say about yours.

I pick up trl's that cause the trailer abs light on the dash to come on when i hit bumps, but never the tractor. The problem always goes away once I get my hands on a good trl again though. Could be a string of bad luck with trl's.

Fontana has never seen a tire they didn't want to replace. Last time I was there every single mt in the lot was red tagged, as well as many loaded trl's. They make crswvc look like they let anything through.

That's what I was thinking but the last trl was a 574###. The new carrier interface is a lot nicer than the old one. You can read it and the buttons light up. Nice to use at night. Still has that crazy "inteliset" programing though.

yeah, its hard to believe that a 574 could have an abs problem already. I'd still take a wait and see approach; you know wvc will have you sitting half a day or more with an intermittent electrical problem, and when its all said and done I'd give it at best a 50/50 shot of being fixed.

    Arkansas Frost Thanks this.

As you all know, I'm on a loaner truck. I was prepping for my trip tomorrow going through my messages to see if anything indicated if my load was a drop. Does anyone know if we drop at americold in plover? I know they preload, but...

Anyway, thats not the point of this post. After going through pset and 3 pages of 27, to no avail, and looking to see if my DM sent me a message i missed (since I did ask if it was a drop) I got curious about the other messages on the QC. This truck was recovered from a l/o who abandoned it because he/she wasn't making money or getting miles. Looking through the messages from before the l/o quit I saw messages that read like this: Do you have a load to (place) for after that pset? (next message) Still waiting for a reply. I'm not accepting that load until I get one to back it up back to (place)

Heres a tip to all the new guys. If you want miles don't turn down loads. Yes you might need to be somewhere, you might be scheduled for home time, I get it. When you're new you're at the bottom of the food chain. If you're turning down loads, don't expect anyone to bend over backwards to get you miles. It's not always pleasant, but it's the truth.

Just thought I'd throw that out there for anyone it might help. Also it looks like this truck might be breakdown happy, so everyone wish me luck on getting out of it before it throws another tantrum. I really don't need two broke down trucks.

I've heard a few people talk about Big Cabin in Oklahoma. It's just an AMBEST with a big Indian out front. I'm underwhelmed agin.
