um...no! I've already made my point clear to my DM, that if they give me an auto, they'll be looking for another driver! lol And i'm being serious too! I've called Tommy and left him messages....talked to Nate this past weekend! Heck I even called Paul yesterday, he's the only one that called back. Explained EVERYTHING to him. Said he'd get things rolling for me and he'd call me back in a few minutes......nope never called back! Well, it seems to be shifting ok this morning. When I switch from 5th to 6th I hafta let the rpms fall ALL THE WAY DOWN...then put them ALL THE WAY UP, back to 1500 and then when they go back to 1000 it'll grab! Sounds like fun, doesn't it? lmao And no Flying, my feet don't hurt, YET! lol

well...what a way to start out my freakin' birthday! 6th gear is blown out! With all the fussing I have been doing about my issue...guess they'll just hafta replace the transmission! At least I'm bobtailing! lol Trying to find an empty to start the day out. So far this week I have a whole 173 miles for the week! As bad of luck I've had this year with this truck, maybe it's time to put out some applications?

thank you POPS! Where ya going? Funny...I was able to make it back to Greensboro this afternoon...IN 7th GEAR! haha I felt, "ungoverned"! Well, taking off! lol There was about 4 guys waiting for rides to their house...it was their last day...ALL went local! Well, Lyn found out what my problem was....not too good.....airtanks weren't draining properly! There was sooo much water in the tanks, it was leaking through the air ride seat button! lmao YES, I DO drain the tanks.....but when I pulled the cord it was just dripping water. He saw that, then went under truck and pulled the plug....think she flooded the shop! lmao so...just keeping my fingers crossed that the water DIDN'T leak into transmission! That's a 2-3 day job there to either, clean the pistons OR replace them! Something HAS to go right for me today.....better be they drained all water out and blow it out real good this evening/night(wd-40 what needs to be done) and I can run with it tomorrow! Miss satellite radio already! lol

well pops hate to see you go.....sure hope the grass really is greener where you're going and not just painted green like the morons in my neighborhood do to try and look better than the other houses lol......

I don't know about those guys Dinky but I don't think I could do a local gig.......the wife really has been pushing it though as little actual time as I've gotten at home so far this year but it just isn't going to happen. I like being out on the road as long as it's just for a week......5-5 1/2 days and i'm good and ready to get home......but find myself looking to get back in the truck after 2 and for sure after 3 days home. local would bore me quickly I think.....same roads, same customers, same in town bs day in and day out.......just don't think it would work for me.

broke the bank on this trip.....a whole 138 from Perryville to Elizabeth lol......but getting layover pay for it too so that kinda takes the sting out of the short miles.

hey you'll have more than me by tomorrow! I almost did that run last week...but didn't have hours for pick up/delivery.....I'm just pissed at NOT being heard until "crap hits the fan". that's all! I sat for almost 5 hours today on repair guy...don't like this...is he really broke down, kinda joke! Look, I've had MORE BREAKDOWNS than anybody...it's NOT like I'm just breaking down on purpose! I only have 173 for the week! I'm just VENTING! lol can you see the steam outta my fingers yet? lmao DM was "playing sick" today! Wish I could do that...but NO, I have people to take care of! Wife to do, Son to see! lol oh well...good thing for me to rant, rant, rant, on here......guess we'll see where things are at around 0800....oh and Tina told me that ALOT of "old guys" are on a waiting list for those automatics. I was SHOCKED! I told her if I get one, I'm quitting.....she told me I was too young to get one...only "older" drivers get them! And I'm NOT saying your old...just saying I don't think I'll get one! Don't know why you got one...unless you got bad knees?

i'll give this pos to any older guy that wants it.

i'll be getting out of it soon enough. DM put me in to get some of those pretty red shirts so I can't keep this truck and wear one hehehehe just gotta get a full class of us who are gluttons for punishment then i'll be out of this thing

oh yeah Dinky, I heard USA was hiring hehehehe

so.......there are much worse things than a broken truck lol i'm surprised they didn't pull it off the road to fix it and just give you a new one. that's what they did with my Volvo once it got to be too much of a problem they just took it down till it was finally fixed and gave me this one and gave my old one to someone else once they had it all sorted out
