I already have my cdl, but I've been off the road for a long time. Will this hurt my chances getting on with McElroy?
-
That's how training should be done. That way you know what you are doing and what the company expects from you...

Lamar, you may have already gotten an answer to your question, but I wouldn't think it would hurt your chances. Have to have a CDL before ya clever there anyway. They'd most likely just put you thru the same training as a new driver right out of school. A recruiter could better answer that tho.

Nothing too difficult. Stepping up & down repeatedly on a low box (checking heart rate), stooping low & putting some washers & nuts on some bolts & taking them off (sort of simulates adjusting brakes, I guess), climbing up & down a mock trailer end, lifting a tarp & placing it on a mock trailer, & a couple of pressure pull exercises.

Hey, newbie! How's it going out there?
-
Things are good so far . I had to come off the trainers truck for a week due to a death in the family. I'm ready to get back out there and finish up. Overall I am pleases with the company.

Sorry for his loss, & that your training got put on hold. All the best to ya!
-
condolences, best to both of ya..

How striked are they on driving records, I have a few suspensions, from 2010 and 09 and 07, but for anything major though,
