Why yes...... Of course.
No first hand knowledge of the NXS but it's just the newer version of the MXS which I do have. I would have no problems buying another. I like mine. -
From what little I know there isn't much difference between the NXS and BXS, which I have, with the BD tuner on it I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one.....if something happened to mine.

The NXS is the same basic engine as a MXS. They aren't a bad engine but could use a tune in the ECM to make for a much better engine.

So im going to guess the accert is better than the nxs?

The NXS is an ACERT. Just a newer ECM. As Mr. Haney says they need a tune. My MXS has a PDI tune and I am very happy with it.

The NXS is the same engine as the MXS with a few minor changes like sensors and plugs, they take the same flash files , you can't Really go wrong with them if it has been looked after properly it will treat you well, they will have the same Iva faults with sensors and wiring with age, but generally are a good engine, they still make them new for the Australian market.

Mr Haney I have a c-15 ACERT BXS Im interested in doing a 6nz conversion and going to single turbo with a pdi tune? what all would be involved in this. reason I want to do the conversion is to get rid of the IVA's and VVA. Its either do this or Im going to buy an older truck with a mechanical moter still haven't made my mind up. reckon it will mostly be what the cost will be to do the conversion versus selling the truck and buying a different truck
