PRIME drivers...What's your 20?

Nothing that I know of, I'm chillin' at the Pine Cone Travel Center. We do have a shipper in downtown Milwaukee, and others in the area.

 

Killing time in my room at the Campus Inn, waiting to get cleared. Stan said he checked my file this morning and everything looked good, so I'm just waiting for the team over in the Millennium building to work their way down the list to my name.

Given that I'm an "add", I'm probably on the bottom of that list...

 

At a teeny tiny truckstop in Dubuque Iowa , for lunch I go to marshalltown Iowa to my 01 to pick up dead pieces of "Babe" "Wilbur" "porky" and "miss piggy" and take them to Tennessee and Mississippi .

 

So, 34 day 2 in Watertown WI. I hate this enforced idleness.

Drop the trailer. Put kingpin cuff on... it's a little stiff, so I shoot some WD40 in the lock. It's laundry and WallyWorld grub run time. Get back, line-up on the trailer, and take the cuff off. Except the lock is still a little stiff. More WD40. Lock turns, and...

Key breaks off.

You gotta be kiddin' me!! So I think about this for a minute... Petro will charge a million for a run out here. Think about going across the street to the tire place and ask if they know anyone who can help. Think about a sawsall from the discount tool store. Then think, what exactly am I paying for? Lock removal. Well how do all the really good crooks on the tube do it? They get some guy with a drill... so I get the drill out, and go to work. 20 minutes later I got pieces of cuff lock, and am hooked to my trailer. Victory!



Picking up in Ottawa IL tomorrow, and headed for Keasbey NJ...

 

Never a dull moment it seems.

 

I cannot wait to head there next Sunday on my 1 Day 10 Hr bus ride on greyhound....not looking forward to that part but cannot wait to start my new career with Prime!!!

New Berlin NY delivered at chobani last night. Chillin in their drop yard got hours back waiting on load.

 

Cool have fun on chaos day . Oh be in time for every class, lecture or any thing they tell you to go to or be at. They will call you out for tardiness.
