I believe the Qualcomm systems are rather customizable. Your company may not give drivers the ability to edit their own logs and require you to call in. I am not familiar with the mcp50 though, we use the 200.

I TOTALLY agree. There is enough stress out there in both the truck and on the road as it is. It would only compound the situation if you have a "team driver" or a "partner" who is NOT in sync with you, or has a personality in which he or she like to "take charge" of everything that takes place both in and out of the truck. One's truck is one's home. Would you want someone controlling or taking charge of your home?
I have never married and never had any children. There were times in my life when I was not able to live solo, due to serious financial difficulties. By the grace of God, various people came to my assistance. For this, I am EXTREMELY grateful! However, when one is NOT charge of themselves, or their living spaces, whether it be a private residence or the inside of a truck, it can be an extremely stressful situation.
3 things in this life that I SERIOUSLY treasure are health, freedom, and privacy. If one thinks about it, the 3 go hand in hand. Eventually, if I play my cards right, I hope to add a 4th. treasure, more personal economic prosperity.
God bless every American and their families! God bless the U.S.A.!Shed527 Thanks this. -

It is possible to legally drive 82 hours in a 7-day period running resets & stopping only for 10's. That won't be the case under the new hos rules this summer.

Hopefully that "trainee" was turned in and terminated. That is unbelievable, not to mention outright disgusting.

Thanks for catching me...I meant 70 in 8 days, sorry foggy late night posting.

He wanted dropped off before his training was done and never went back. He didn't like driving all the time and making the trainer money with miles while he only got a set pay during training. Therefore he never wanted to drive and if he did, it was never more than 6 hours. Whole situation stunk. Didn't find out about the mattress thing until after he got off or else believe me his *** would have gotten kicked!
