It dont matter if its direct freight, from a trucking company, or a 3PL; They all have some loads that are cheap..............

All these companies haul cheap freight? The question should be asked, "Why is there cheap freight". Someone suggested that you don't haul cheap freight. Obviously he is an O/O or doesn't drive a truck. All the companies listed are the largest in the industry. They make their money by volume. When you have 10,000 power units hauling "cheap" freight, you are still making millions. The drive makes a pittance, but, drivers are cheap. That's the answer to the "cheap freight" question. Some company came in, underbid the freight, got the contract. When that contract came due, some other company did the same thing. The days of really good paying general freight are most likely over.
