yea Toyota I've been training in the transport div in Orlando for two weeks[nights5pm5am] if that's what they call training basically do this do that now go .Had to figure everything out either on my own or with the help of the other drivers from the paper work to the pay sheets and the people net in the truck. The money is way worst then I thought it would be to put in that many hours[12] and walk away with 100.00 bucks is horrible but maybe it will get better it better or I am gone let me know how its going for you hang in there bay drivers make great money once you settle in this trucker is to old for that position they wouldn't look at me for that i was in Tampa Thursday night about 9 pm dropped 23 pallets of 20 oz and went back to Orlando with 23 pallets of water good luck let me know how your doing later

So today was my last day of training but they sent me out on my own because a guy quit yesterday worked 14 hoursout of 14 stops completed 5 went back to the office and told them today would be my last day took my paycheck $700 net for last week and left, this job sucks so much ### because the corporate guy in chrage is only worried about looking good on paper and not making the job efficient every aspect of the job theres so many things that can be done different to cut back on the labor the drivers have to put it ill make something very clear this is not a driver job it is a merchendising one with 5 minute intervals of driving a cmv so to summerize #### pepsi and #### d-bay position

Cant be that bad. Ive done as much as. 460 miles and around 2100 boxes in one day. Not soda,s but somewhat similar. The physical work is the fun part. I also have a family to feed. Work ethic goes along way

hey Ive been workingr Pepsi Five years now my first year on sideloader was hard and I made 50,998 for the year. My second year was ok and I made 54,989. This year is my three year on sideloaders and I'm set to possible make 60, 000 to 65,000. Yes Im a delivery driver(Bay) some days im home after 8hour, and some after 12, maybe 14 on a holiday. No it not driving at all, yes it more merchandising, tight alley docking, corner, and parking lots in a single axle trailer but when u stick it out on a route/ routine gases , and cnviecne store get to know u and trust the last thing they want is to run out of pepsi, mt. dew, starbuck, crush, or brisk tea note all the good product keep u work all year, you can take half your truck to a truuck stop cause truckers drink mt dew , amp ,and rockstar enegry it pays well week your getting paid

Up here in Vancouver Canada we work 4 days a week averaging 10 to 12 hours a day. Most trucks are 12 bay side load. An average load is around 450 cases 12000 lbs. and 16 stops. The job is really physical. Pay is hourly, and good at $33.06/hour, but cost of living here is pretty high. We are not union, but Coke is so they gives us something to base our wage and benefits on. We are totally seniority based, routes are picked daily with the senior guys coming in earliest to pick. The junior guys are on call and that makes sticking around tuff... even after 12+ years! They have been offloading a lot of our product to third party in the past few years and the driver board has shrunk significantly. Here's hoping that it stops shrinking before it gets to me.
