6nz Cat Motor

I have a year 1999 6nz with 375,000 (Yep 375) miles. It's stock. Yet 2 1/2 years ago at routine top end valve set, had ECM flashed to slightly increase fuel pressure and ###### timing. This resulted in mpgs increasing from 7.0 to 8.2. BUT MORE IMPORTANT the fun factor of driving a truck that pulls 6% grades at 65 mph. A win win.This motor is attached to a bad*ss KW T2000, fully loaded, 18 spd., 19 gauges, full fairing, one owner, clean inside and out, white, weed burner exhaust, OO Tractor.My last KW (1978 K100 ) I ran 22 years and replaced it with this one. I'm not a genious. Just well trained, gentle and conscientious when it comes to equipment.THE BAD. 3 years ago when I was trying to get my routine valve adjustment, two KW stealerships said my cam was bad. Even to say it was common to C15s and I'd be lucky to go 1k miles. The third KW shop said no and those were normal wear marks. Just as I had thought. I'm posting here cause I live in California, I'm feeling fried from 35 years of bed buggin' and thinking of selling or registering/converting to an RV just so I don't have to part with her. CARB SUCKS !!So what's it worth to you for this motor and or truck ?Tim

The whole truck will be for sale end of Dec. 2013. 550 Cat/18 spd Fuller if California indeed outlaws it. It is registered and running til then but will not be re-registered for 2014. Currently 380,000 miles, zero oil loss, 8.2 mpg.
