ive had just the opposite experience ...usually if you get an idiot on the cb,there's 12more trying to do the same thing...Now if you act like a helpless Lil lady,THEN some guy will speak up but if you are putting the guy in his place,they ALL get defensive,like wolf packs!!!!

 

I do not think anything will happen like and you should not fear about this. If you will think like this, then there will not be any place or career for you. You need to be mentally strong for this. There are many places, which is considered safe, but crimes are taking place there as well.

Ummm please advice as how to deter the idiots? Is it ok to shower everyday? Maybe brush our teeth once in awhile?
maybe not eat junk food everyday and gain 200 lbs? Where does it end? When can we get out of the truck and be ourselves driver? Are you saying that bc if one is clean and takes care of themselves their not "qualified" to hold a steering wheel? Come on now,you can't possibly go thru life like that around your family and friends when you're home,so this is no different. It's where we work...I'm so glad to see educated newbies get into this industry and all the old ways of thinking are a dieing breed.

 

I don't know what you're babbling on about.The point of my post was that his wife and daughter should expect to be looked at if they are gonna get "dolled up" as he put it.
And if they don't want truckers looking at them,stay out of truck stops.

 

I wish all truck drivers were beautiful girls......... and me!!! Life would be so much better!

showered,....teeth brushed,....makeup,....hair brushed....opposite of dolled up/ smelling like a goat greasy ball cap ,britches that haven't been washed in 5 days,and haven't fit in 20 years...lmao yeah I guess I too get "dolled up" everyday.
what if the gals stood outside the showers ,u know driver in the tv room and when u fellas get out of there with your Lil smelly cologne and them tighter fitting britches bc THEY'RE CLEAN NOW,lol and we just whistled and oo'ed and awed the whole way back to your truck,how would you like it? Oh no wait a minute you would be ok with that right? Until its your daughter or wife......

one would think I doll up everyday according to your post...and I am in T/S everyday.
