Hi, I'm looking for a truck driving job. I have 9 months otr(within the previous 12 months), 1 year total CDL experience. Clean driving record, no accidents ortickets/inspection violations. My experience is in Van and Reefer freight as well as driving a city bus. 8 months were with swift (left with 1 and ½ weeks notice so I could get to my new job on the start date), 1 was with heyl. I however, was fired by my last employer though. They claimed I did not have authorization to leave the truck to go to a doctor during my probationary period. There were also issues with the truck where I refused to drive except to get it repaired as it was shutting down while driving and going through 1 gallon of oil every 200 miles. There were no other things other than that as I was only away from the truck for 2 hours and it was secured in a secure location and is proven by my DAC as well as the fact that I never abandoned any equipment with any employer. I'm eligible for rehire by them at a later date but am looking for a chance to keep doing what I love, which is driving, and finding a better company towork for.
I'm 24 have a college degree as well and understand what it takes to run a lean business as my degree was in economics. I have all endorsements, and can drive to/from Canada and have the desire to see all of the US and Canada. Willing to get a twic card if needed as well.
I'm looking for a company I can stick with and be honest and upfront with and that will be honest with me too even if I did something wrong as I'd do everything in my power to correct it.
Please let me know if you have or know of opportunities for me.
Thanks

Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.
Seeking an employer I can be honest to, help grow, and that will help me grow too
