You have more problems to deal with than just routing. I'm getting tired of the hassles other than structural.

Thanks for trying to address the issues, at least your clearance signage is usually adequate.

    Elaine Thanks this.

Appreciate the communication. I filled it out. I put my number one issue as parking. I've had delivery/pickups spaced a part and had nowhere to go for a couple hours. Me driving around wastes fuel, creates more traffic and wastes time and money.

    Elaine Thanks this.

Filled out the survey. Haven't had any problems in ChiTown in a while.

One suggestion I'd like to make is the city needs more low clearance warning signs at the beginning of smaller streets that are not necessarily truck prohibited. For example there are several shippers/receivers on the 4500 west block of Palmer street. Which is right next to a 12 foot something low viaduct. The only way to get in there is from Armitage Avenue via Kilbourne Avenue. If trucks try to get in from Cicero (which seems like the most easy direct route) they will encounter the low viaduct. Problem is there is NO clearance sign on Palmer warning trucks turning off Cicero.

Thank you Lonesome and DrivertoBroker. Driver thank you for the information about the low clearances - these are exactly the types of issues we are trying to look at.

As far as your highway goes, I cannot understand the logic behind restricting trucks to the two right lanes. Most highways are like this. If you have four lanes, why do you want merging traffic to deal with trucks? Why would you want trucks to have to slow down or change lanes for merging traffic, especially other trucks? What is safe about that?

Why not just have signs: "Through traffic left two lanes."

    Makes way more sense.

Rather Chicago than Boston or Pittsburg
