Haha y'all are a riot. Yeah I'm glad I'm back in the saddle finally driving OTR. Driving this truck puts a grin on my face ear to ear.

I'm in Sweetwater, TX just south of rotan. Was told not to go in too early in the morning since the trailer won't be ready (picking up a pre loaded). So I'll head up there about 10am. Eating at the TA here

It drives like a Cadillac, really It's so smooth. I'm in love with it haha.

I never want to drive anything other than a hood again, and backing isn't as bad as I thought it would be. It's got a 265" wheelbase and it turns pretty sharp.

I don't have an APU, but at least I didn't have to idle last night here in Texas, nice cool 68*.

Well got loaded today, deliver tomorrow. Hopefully I'll be able to get another load or good load that is, before the weekend. Something with some miles to it

My father and I were looking to buy a Peterbilt long nose and do line haul for FedEx ground as a o.o. He was gonna do all the paper work and was going to be the operator and would save for other trucks. After I got fed up with them and got the job at YRC I gave up pursing that

I have finally put my dreams of owning my own truck to rest. I don't have a business head for it anyway. Well tonight is my last night with Knight. I will turn my day cab in tomorrow morning and start my vacation right. Friday morning while everyone is going to work, I will be in my lawn chair having a Shiner Bock! Glad to hear you are working DD! Keep that Pete clean and well maintained. Ride with Pride!

I have no idea how to run a business either but my dad has for 20+ years, he was mainly going to do it to help me out. He doesnt have a CDL so he was just gonna handle all the BS and paper work and I would hande all operations. After a while we would purchase other tractors, but the long nose would be mine to use lol.

Well good luck to you drozzer69, I still enjoy my day cab lol

I will! I love this truck. It's dirty from a dirt lot I picked up in yesterday, I can't wait to get it washed
