Hope you waved and smiled, lol.Anyway I got caught by a red lite camera in Texas, lite was more yellow then red. That happened like 3 yrs ago and never heard back from Texas.
Chinatown Thanks this. -
The cameras here in my town will not flash unless you enter the intersection on red , if its yellow when you cross the line it wont flash , driving the speed limit gives me ample time to come to a stop.

Each red light ticket is reviewed by a officer. Hope you wasn't looking at ur phone... This ticket will come with a video of u crossing blowing light.

Good lawyers can supposedly get these dismissed pretty easily. Something about the tickets being hearsay because no one was actually there to see it...
Chinatown Thanks this. -
Your trailer triggered it as if a car had entered on red. Should be no points and no report to driving record, check with the city that runs the scam.

Not correct. They will simply send the ticket to the company. These are not considered moving violations. The company will know who was driving any particular truck or pulling a specific trailer. These cameras are a source of revenue and simply not knowing the name of the driver won't stop the ticket from being issued.
About 2 years ago I got caught be the world's shortest green left turn arrow in Alsip, IL. The ticket still got sent to my company. On a happy note, the company also felt the ticket was bogus, so they paid the fine for me. -
So it happened to you , that does not make it happen EVERYWHERE in North America now does it.
Ghost Ryder Thanks this. -
I read last week that some cities are shortening the time on the yellow light so they can give more tickets.
