I have researched them for the last 2 months, some bad just like you hear about all companies but I found mostly good. They are a small/mid sized company with 200 trucks all leased onto prime. They pull prime trailers and have been called Baby Prime, Prime's little sister, Small Prime etc. Its because they pull Prime freight, they have there own dispatchers but they are located at Prime HQ, The Will-Trans drivers have the same access level to Prime facilities as the regular Prime drivers. Will-Trans has there own training school for new drivers called Route 66 apprenticeship. The program seems to be longer than most other driver training programs and that could be good or bad depending on your own needs. They have company drivers, lease and lease purchase options. They are family owned and operated and from all I could find are fair as companies go. They hire from 48 states and expect the driver to be out for 3 to 4 weeks with 1 day home time for each week out. After looking into this company along with several others for the last 2 months I decided on them and will be starting orientation on the 28th. I hope that helped...

i'm here with them right now. so far so good. our dispatchers are not at prime hq like stated above, and we're actually nowhere within 2 miles of primes terminal. we have our own trucks with our own yard, but everything else including loads, maintenance and terminals are prime. darrel is a great guy, and gives you his personal number after you start if needed to get in touch with him. prime isn't bad, but i like being known by my name, and not my truck number.

Why? Did you see something you didn't like at Wil-Trans?

I didn't care for the fact they pay you 10 cents a mile to run 60,000 miles with a trainer.
