so how is there dorm ? i think the 2 week course for new drivers is way too short but seems pretty common for training companys .I may come be coming there but only cause my brother is thinking about doing truck driving and may team up with him afterwards crst isnt my first choice by a long shot. so any info on how it actually is there for you would be great (in the riverside/fontanna center) posts about over the road wise i have seen negative comments and some good ones but none that, but that IMO all depends on the driver and there mentality (ie how they handle situations)but would like to know of the condition of riversides actual training facility

for sure lilrich

Riverside facility is brand new the dorm is three to a room not much for places to go around here thats walinging distance. training is fast and intense you have to be able to get your permit by the first wednesday your here don't worry they give all the answers to the written test. days at school start at 6:30 am but you have to cath they school bus at 5:15-5:30 am so you got to be up at about 4:15am to get ready so you can eat and everything first week done and we are already practicing the pretrip inspection and airbrake test were of untill tuesday next week. this company seems to be real good. so hurry and get here.

Not a good company if thgey give you the answers to the test, holy cow batman.
drvrtech77 Thanks this. -
thanks for the update company may seem good now but its just the start not saying there not but its after training that determines how good of a company they really are but regardless of how good or bad they are try to stick it out for the 8 months on the schooling contract. the main bad info i have read about crst doesnt start until after the time with the trainer 28 days or whatever it was. dont get me wrong i may be coming there still regardless of others bad experience.
mainly just for a starter company or restarter i should say lolz
also hows the food they offer you there? and how much do they really charge for it? the recruiter i talked to said $5-6 per meal have to know since there isnt any place close to there dorms sounds like i would be forced to eat there stuff
oh and what state you out of bratsman? as if i go there teams have to run out of same state or city i believe may come there next week so wouldnt be far behind you in completion. im out of phx AZ. but may not matter if my brother actually gets into the industry.
@ blackysc giving the answers to the test isnt a big deal as the test vary anyways so you still have to memorize all of them and the test answers and ?? are usually in the DMV book anyways. -
I don't know how this is allowed. Having these companies test their own students is a classic "trusting the fox with the chicken coup."drvrtech77 Thanks this.

No wonder these new drivers don't know squat about rules & regs and everything that has to do with the truck...can't learn with someone just giving you the answers.

CRST is probably the worst trucking company in the country
-
I would vote 2nd worst right behind CR England. CRST is currently spamming craigslist in SoCal like crazy looking for drivers.
