Seems like most profit came from YRC... and aout a 1/3 from the regionals. Not sure how we are screwed, just a little confused if you can help clear me up lol. Also I thought you were layed off from Yellow back in 07 with the huge layoffs... WOW 1 day a month I dont blame you, heck when CWF was making me work 3 hour days the 2nd week I was looking for new jobs... My buddy got on at UPSF. He just got the call back to YRC at 111 for the dock. HE was a dock workers for 19 years at Roadway, but they are long shore men not teamsters. He was layed off after the merge and when they reopened 111 they called him back and still has his senority!!! guess 111 reopening isnt a stupid thing like I though, glad hes back at work and with his senority.

Sammycando From what I know Indy was one of our biggest gaining terminals. They closed down Cinncinati and moved it all to Indy I believe. Thats good you will have a lot below you. I have been at Maybrook 3 months and have ten below me. However we arent a distribution hub, just a distribution center as 85% of our terminals are just end of the line satelite terminals, doesnt bother me though, I do all the end of the lines, normally they give you a fairly decent truck to do them as your not swapping out at the hubs. I have seen there are some trucks that arent so great and the hubs try to get rid of them to others LOL... Not trying to scare you just be prepared.

Well I got to get ready, my reservation is at 8:30, took a few extra hours extended for tomorrow

Yes, I heard that too. That was the main part of the good news I said I didn't want to post yet because it ain't true til it happens. I've posted a couple things on here in the past that I was told from a very reliable source that ended up not happening. So, I'm more careful now so as not to mislead anyone.
I know they are still hiring. Anyway, yes, this would be awesome for both of us if this happens. Well, at least until the next coo. Skinnytrucker could sure verify that reality. lol

What sucks union is locked in for 2 more years. So they'll make extra money on everyone on the paycut and put it in their pocket. Blows! You guys better ask for more come negotiations time. They'll probably try to only give the 15% back when they got more.

309 is notorious for doing this. If they send me home, you can bet I'll get the biggest POS Sterling they have. Man, those guys are such a-holes.

I don't think we'll ever get that 15% back. At least not in our lifetime.

I;m Hearing the union is trying to get give us that 15% back now... After the try to buy ABF they are fighting for it now. The contract was suppose to be up this March 31st 2013... who gave the right to extend it??? They brought up the old equipment to to fix it and make it better and our "savior" said hes not concerned about that and is not losing sleep over it #$%^ YOU, hes not driving it.

@Squonk Harrisment is known for that, but we do the same to them. I remember writing up a truck I did on turns for a quite a bit of things, the next day they were sending it to harrisburg LOL. Heck latelly Harrisburg gives you a half tank to take home so they dont hae to use there fuel to fill it. We do the same thing though. And Ive heard Harrisburg will not swap out a truck for anyone unless its pretty much on fire. Shows that they want to get rid of the crap ones. I have onl driven volvos since I have been up here. HE do have a few freightshakers, old internationals and sterlings on the road but I never gotten one.

I'd take that vs 500 miles in a good OL Cabby. Their p&d guy wrecked my truck forgot to lock the breaks rolled into a ditch from the dock when I was on my 10. CF driver sent pics to one of our drivers he knew. Lol. Shop was gonna have me take a Super T KW, their drivers cried to dispatch and sent me back in a Cabby. I was new, if that was the case now I would tell them tough don't wreck our trucks you can call my TM if you got a problem. I don't mind driving them once awhile but you miss the regular trucks, they got no power cause of the small engine wish they up the speed to 68mph to compensate for lack of power.

ACH, My bad, I read it wrong. Yes, before the lay off they were barely giving us any work and I was forced to leave. They once called me when I was in Utah to come in to work lol.
