The school called and told me you have to be a resident of Mississippi to go to that school. That counts me out now I'm checking on Schneiders school.
-
I don't know if Schneider still has the school open. There are a plenty of them, for sure. Just realize, if you go through a company training school, you are committed to them for a time to repay the CDL school. Choose carefully.

Pro: very nice equipment
Con: looks great parked at a truck stop waiting to deliver. -

Look into North West community college in southaven, Ms. About $1000 and CDL is Yours. Plenty of jobs around memphis and west memphis, Ar
Stay away from Killem. KLLM never let's you go home -
That's a fact. And you spend 50% of your time waiting to load or unload.

I worked for KLLM for two years (both as Company AND lease purchase), and I have had a very good experience with KLLM. Name me one company who never has to wait to deliver at times.... Name me one company that doesnt have at least ONE driver who thinks they never get home...
KLLM has its issues (all companies do), but the ####### in here dont give an accurate portrayal....Sharon Huber, charlie's angel and scottied67 Thank this. -
my wifes uncle drives for kllm, he likes it. he started out company, did a short lease, now he is a few payment away from being done on his lease purchase. he will leave there with his truck and a pretty big bank account. that's saying something since he is married with 3 kids. I drive for prime but think kllm is a pretty good company, not the best paying or the best anything, but they have their opperations set up pretty well. only reason I didn't go there is they don't have their own cdl school.
