B.A. in Art and thinking about becoming a truck driver. I was a special education assistant in public schools for 6 years and I've had enough of kids. However, it seems people go into trucking like its last resort but people don't realize how much of a commitment it is.

Welcome to the club... BSEE, enough work to finish a MSEE, and 20 years experience. If you don't have an active security clearance from recent military service, they don't even want the opportunity to toss your resume in the round file without looking at it. If it doesn't require a clearance, it's being engineered off shore.
Trucking is good!MNdriver Thanks this. -
I think you nailed it. I have a MS in Criminal Justice &, frankly, I just enjoy driving more than anything in the criminal justice field.

I have a BA English "Professional Writing" like grants, proposals and all that -- never made any money with it. I am now taking free courses from coursera.org a free online college (not degree granting). Right now I am taking a class from Brown and another from London University. I've taken a few classes here and there from other schools-- online and whatever. You should never stop learning, I feel.
Zen Trucker Thanks this.
