It's a turd, fuel economy is pretty good, reliability? Maybe 750k to over haul. That's a low HP motor primarily used in buses.
-
From memory those motors can go as high as 450 hp. Keep in mind they are 11L. If it's dual air cleaner, dual stack it should be good to go to 350 as long asyou have a pyro and good maitenance.
-
The one I'm looking at has around 450k on it be pull a 28ft pup trailer doing local stuff. Will this truck suit me fine?
-
Depends how heavy the gross is and how far your expecting to haul, relatively speaking of course. It's not a power/torque motor. It's designed more for mid sized p&d work. It'll work might just be a little slower than the rest. Wasn't that long ago 350hp was big power.
