My 99 9300 n14. I replaced ac compressor,.condenser, filter, expansion valve, all lines, belts, high and low switch on the expansion valve. I had a mechanic fill it with the proper type coolant....... Problem is my compressor won't turn on, if I jump the wire on the low side or the high side at the expansion valve then the compressor kicks in and starts cooling... To my knowledge if you jump the low side and it kicks in then the low side switch is hopped, I just put a brand new one in as well should it kick the compressor on when I jump the high side? I didn't think so but I'm not sure.... I am lost and can't figure it out for the life of me, I would appreciate any help.

    Thank you

Do you have gauges might have a leak would be my guess or bad connection in the wires to the pressure swith

I am looking at a 2002 diagram, but should be the same as yours. If the high or low pressure switches are closed then they will cut off the a/c compressor. So if you have them unplugged, but are jumping power to them then there is no power getting to the freeze switch from the main a/c control relay. This relay is triggered when you turn on the a/c in the heater control. The power for pin 30 of the main control relay is fuse/breaker F1-B. When the a/c is turned on, if the fuses and beakers are good you should have power in and out of the freeze switch.

The main a/c control relay should be the second from the top at the left side. Breaker/fuse F1-B is the first row, second one down, should be 10 amp.

    rickybobby Thanks this.
