Anyone have current info on this company? Pay, equipment etc. Anyone a current employee? Auto Hauler division specifically.

There are mentions of said company in other threads. Here is a taste:
http://www.thetruckersreport.com/tr.../201253-waggoners-trucking-oklahoma-city.html
Use the search function at the top of the forum to look for key words IE "waggoners", United Road, Car Haul, etc ......HeWhoMustNotBeNamed and CameronChase Thank this. -
The only thing I know about The Waggoners are some key management people that came from Hadley Auto Transport that I used to work with.CameronChase and Speedloader Thank this.

I have done the searching. Not a whole lot of solid info there. That's why I started this thread. I wanted something more specific IE Anyone have current info on this company? Pay, equipment etc. Anyone a current/former employee? I need specifics. Not just some people ranting. It's either one guy who is sour and ranting or people asking about them with no real answer or people saying "I have seen them on the road." I have researched the others and nobody want's noobs. It seems that they are willing to train. Everyone was a noob once right? So anything informative or constructive would be appreciated. I am located in Florida. Thanks!Last edited: May 30, 2013

I have other threads about hauling, but I am going to interview with them in the next month. I just don't want to go there and not make any money and be worse off than I am now. Don't want the old bait and switch. I know it will take time to get into the swing of things and start to make good money. The recruiter was saying if you aren't making at least $50,000 something is wrong. It's a big leap for me to step out from where I am now. Just trying not to crash and burn.

I hear ya. Personally, I don't know much more about Waggoners other then what I've read in forums such as this. Are you currently in car haul now ? If not, what do you do and for how long ?

Seen one of there Argosys loading today. Truck looked a lot like a PMTG truck but without the curtains or roof.

Just an observation...as a former Terminal Manager with a major auto hauler, I have seen countless drivers walk through the door looking to fill out an ap. The biggest turnoff to me was the guy that walks in, never hauled a car in his life or just recently got his CDL and wants to know how much he's going to make/what can the company do for him...Maybe learn how to do the job first before you want to know what they can do for you. I always averaged about 10 new hires to get 2 that can cut it. I've seen noobies tear up a fair share of new vehicles and equipment. Just sayin...

I have been running a 53' reefer locally for 2 1/2 years. The reason I asked about the pay is that I have a family to support. I can't just leave where I am at and make less than where I am at now. Believe me I know it is going to be hard work.I know I will not be in the top tier when I start. I am a hard worker and always willing to learn. I learn quickly and pay attention to details. Like I said before everyone was new at some point in time. I would never walk into a company thinking that I know it all, or have the attitude of what can they do for me. I am just trying to get a general idea about the company. If you take a job without doing the research you have done yourself a disservice. I am eager to learn. I know if I'm making money so is the company. I am not looking to be handed something. Hard work and dedication are the only things I can offer in the beginning. I know I won't walk in and change the car hauling world. I am just looking to better myself and make life a little better for my family. I see car hauling as the top of the heap. I'm just looking to climb my way slowly and safely there.daddy2twins, KF7WTV and Jrdude5 Thank this.
