Conway Truckload Drivers what is your 20?

Duncan south Carolina.deliver to Lowes in valdosta on 6.01.13 at 0001am....I'm 358 miles away...I'm dropping this before then....

 

Sitting in Carlisle PA....no load yet ...been 5 hrs

 

Have called everyday since Friday and still no one knows nothing yet, yesterday it was "Well the hiring mgr is in OKC meeting with them to find the 4 people, he should have a decision tomorrow", the job is suppose to start Monday, called them today and still no answer yet but was told that tomorrow should be the day. A week since they were suppose to have called everyone. Is there alot of people that live in OKC or at least 50 miles radius ??

 

Midland Texas. Walked 2.1 miles to check out the Confederate Air Force museum. Political correctness, they had to change the name to Commemorative. Anyhow 20 plus years have no idea why I never checked it out. The nose art collection was Amazing! Most of the flying airplanes were out doing the air show thing. Saw FiFi last week doing a flyover Charlotte last week.
Anyhow, anybody interested, the walk isnt bad, cab ride cost 10 bucks, it was hot on way back. Cabby mentioned airport shuttle. Also, big dirt lot that can park truck at across the street too.
Well worth it, if your into planes.

 

Coachella, CA.

These noisy new tires had me cruising at 65mph for the first time according to the qualcomm/navigo "follow me" -- unfortunately I only got to do so for ~30 miles before hitting California. Seems odd that a 760 mile load going from Nevada to neighboring Arizona spends 600 miles in California, but I guess that is the shortest route. The normally gutless Maxxforce was downright anemic at 8000' too.

 

Fi fi is the only flying B29 left...magnificent....I have driven thru and stopped in midland many times have always wanted to check that out.... Now that I know.I will.thanks Mustang.

The Pima air museum in Tucson has on site truck parking.
During the week can take the bone yard tour.
National Air Force museum Wright Patterson Dayton Ohio has on site truck parking. Park at far end of lot.
Get there early and sign up to take the bus to the presidential hangar, see the retired air force ones, and the x planes.
Both places I good spend hours at

 

Home on my first official day off. It only took 14 days. Time to drink some beer and get a few more tattoos. Hope everyone stays safe out there!
