If you just got you MC# I wouldn't think about hiring anyone yet. A bad one could put you out of business quick.
I learn the game first then look at expansion. The truckers edge seems to me to be the best load board.
The worst is real time freight if they're still around.

WOW ! Putting the cart before the horse, I think.
I certainly wish you well, but don't you think you should have a little knowledge about trucking before jumping off the deep end ?

I call it the Britlings syndrone that's a cafateria down here in Birmongham when I's growing up.
Parents would say get what you want but you have to eat it all. Can you guess how that went?
Eye's were always bigger than the stomach just like the eye's are bigger than the wallet.

You need to have your application in your driver file, inpsections on truck and trailer, ifta, irp, ucr, insurance, and most inportant operating money for at least the first couple weeks. I wouldn't go beyond the range I could afford to come back on with what money you have on hand. I've heard tale fo guy's going out and not having enough money to get back home or break down and have to leave the truck where it's broke down at.
