Can anyone provide me with some decent flatbed companies? Not afraid of hard work or harsh conditions (spent a few years in two war zones)! Just want to go to a company that communicates provide hometime after being out 3+ weeks without asking & decent pay.

    Chinatown Thanks this.

First, where do you live? Some companies want you to live in certain hiring areas, but not all have that policy. Also, look at the companies websites & benefits package.

    Good companies :

    System Transport
    Melton Truck Lines

Both of these companies hire new CDL grads.

    Chinatown,

I would add Lonestar, Maverick and Keim to the list.

If all you're looking for is legal flatbed loads, then Central Oregon Trucking Co. may be the company for you. They are a fairly good starter flatbed Co.
If you're looking to do more than just flatbed, ie OS/OW/heavy haul, then Lonestar may be the right fit.
Having worked for both companies, and currently with Lonestar I can give you realistic feedback of both.

you have to have 2 years experience to work for central oregon trucking. I just started with System Transport and they are great. I drove in the oilfields before and they have shown me nothing but respect. They will take care of you and provide you the training you need. They are a lower 48 state, and Canada company. All of their terminals are in the lower 48. Thank you for your service.
