Anyone working for Werner knows the financial office is impossible to reach. Whenever you call them be prepared to listen to Tim Bean's friendly message. My direct deposit took two weeks to straighten out becuz i did not want my pay to go to an EFS card. Now here are more questions.
Why is my pay going to be late a day becuz of the Memorial Day Holiday? Memorial day is a federal holiday first of all. Second of all, I served 20 years in the Marines, did four combat tours, and lost a lot of friends. My butt was driving a truck from.Ohio to New York on Memorial Day. The least I could ask for is to be paid on Friday, so wifey can pay the bills. I realize i am new, but is pay late for EVERY holiday?
And who are the finance people? Why as an employee am i not allowed to see them? I was at the Omaha HQ terminal and could not give paperwork to the financial office. I had to give it to a secretary/guard who faxed it to the office upstairs. Then i had to wait two hours for a reply. What sense does this make? I was told under no circumstance can a driver speak to a financial department rep face to face. Say what? Hmmmmmm. Werner Cares.
