I agree with what he said. But I must mention that Waffle House gave me free coffee and something like a 20 percent discount on my meal for veterans day a couple years ago. And I don't think anybody owes me for serving in the army and civilians don't care about it. I didn't serve in a war zone ( got rearended by another truck during a training exercise). If someone served in a war zone, they have my respect. But I never got shot at. So why should I expect anything. I carry 2 atm cards and a credit card. I suggest others do the same. Don't be dependent on the goodwill of others. My dad served on cargo ships in the Merchant Marines from 1941-1945 . Many of those ships got sunk . And many of those died. I have never heard my dad say he thinks anybody owes him. Anyway. If you served in a war zone, I salute you.

All this occurred after hours. I would say around 5:30 to 6:00 eastern time. The 500 was ran on Sunday the 26th. I am not looking for anything special at all. Just informing what could probably happed to others. I will not be called a liar you can go to my face book page. That where army buddies post picture on my wall. I love this country and please trucker friends do not smear our honor. my face book page is Torrance Reeves

I am a veteran. Just never noticed anybody gave a #&$@. In trucking, you are a truck driver and will be treated like one. I remember my first sergeant saying he didn't like civilians. I thought he was.joking. After trucking 20 , I think I might I agree with him to a certain extent.
