Well here is a story...... I went to National Training in Green Cove, FL for truck training. In the lounge they had a poster of a guy with a fake leg. The poster claimed he had been in prison for selling drugs. He lost his leg in prison, don't remember how. Anyway, the poster shows him in a truck so he's driving for somebody. Hope this helps

 

Yes, PTL will hire you, but you need a CDL first. They have their own refresher course, but don't know if they would put you on the road with just a refresher. Call and ask.

 

You will get more responses if you start a thread on "Questions From New Drivers."
You won't have any problem getting a trucking job once you get a CDL or complete a private CDL school. Might be a cheap school at one of the community colleges in that area. Maaybe ask Super-Service there in Somerset if they will recommend a school.

omg! first off, its only a feloney if you get caught.
second, its not illegal unless you get caught.
I have several felonies, over ten years old. they don't show on my backrounds. and I drive for a living.

to the op, go to the dmv in your state, ask for your dri ving record ( for employment purpose)
and your criminal record. spit it back to anyone you apply to.
then you see what they see, ......no issues if your up front!
and your cr
