Thanks guys...I am going to study Mechanical Engineering....who knows maybe I will design a truck that is actually reliable when I am done...LOL....

so far I have paid a ton in fees.....I swear I have paid fees to get more fees LOL....I am glad I have the opportunity to go back to school at my age since the Army took my schooling years away from me with repeated deployments...but at least they are going to pay for it with my GI bill....I also have to hit up the VA to get some disability too...that way I hopefully won't have to work between the stipend I get every month from GI bill and disability....so I can completely focus on my schooling...(its a boat load of algebra, physics, thermodynamics, oh yeah and CALCULUS!!)..

Everyone be safe out there this weekend. I'm at the house Friday and Saturday, I'll be pulling one out of Worthington on Sunday going to VA. Kinda ticks me off, I made special effort to be home Friday to close our refi, only to have the bank postpone due to some screw up underwriting. They don't seem to get that being home can cost productivity! Sheesh!

 

Sitting is dunn nc then on to prince George for my final stop. Then I was told I will be going to front royal for am apt in jersey on Tuesday, then hopefully home because I've been running hard for past to months and I am tired as heck, and it shows I was supposed to be home for memorial day weekend but my old brain thought memorial day was next weekend lol

Anywayss hope all of you have a safe holiday and be safe on my way from Iowa I seen lots of cops pulling over 4wheelers but only one big truck

 

I visited with a driver at the yard Sunday, he said he heard VW's is going to buy T700's. Anyone else heard anything? (Not that it matters, just curious).

 

Ya, I'll drive whatever they give me, but t700's, or t680's would be nice rides. I'm kinda curious if the fridges are any bigger in those than the t660. That's one thing the Volvo's have going for them in my book, is the larger fridges. In the end though, a truck's a truck.

 

Been working hard trying to get all my ducks in a row before fall...been brushing up my algebra skills in prep for my math placement exam at Iowa State....I spent the week in the northwest...on my way to sheldon tonight since this load doesnt deliver til monday....they have me running a load to iowa city monday...but I need to get my physical before the 10th cause it would suck to get pulled over then...I even told tim a couple times and he said oh we will get me back home before then... (ive heard those words before) So I got to stay on my ps and qs this week so dale doesnt send me too far away....
I have orientation at the school the 1st of july....after that I will let VW know I will be leaving...maybe hopefully I can do some part time work when I have the time..... for a little extra pocket change to supplement my gi bill

 

the ones i have seen T700 the fridge pull out, that would be nice, all you old timers get them then maybe i could get a T660. Only got 5 more weeks..can't wait.

 

Ya I've just been working away here lately so I haven't really been online a whole heck of a lot. I delivered out by Philly yesterday and of course the load bled all over the place so I had to run up to Bordentown to the closest washout. I'm really sad that they closed down the Walt Whitman t/s down by Chiquita, now finding a washout in that neck of the woods is a royal pain. I was quite surprised though, I managed to be in and out of Glouster, NJ in less than 90 minutes so I could beat rush hour.
